Garning an audience of more than 200, Professional Design Group (PDG) brought the "funny" to Gwinnett Performing Arts Center to a community that enjoys comedy, but doesn't enjoy the drive to our Downtown Atlanta area.
The "I Wish You Would" comedy show was hosted by comedianne Kiana Dancie (Bounce TV's "Off The Chain", BET's "Who's Got Jokes"). She had the crowd laughing and kept the show flowing between acts with quit-witted jokes mixed fluently with colorful language the audience enjoyed.
Comedian Rod Minger came out swinging with his high energy set continuing the show's momentum with everyone laughing from the front to the back of the theatre. He shared funny stories the audience could connect with about his family and real life experiences!
Keni Myles (R&B Vocalist of The Rude Boys) and his live band wooed and finessed the audience with his phenomenal vocal range and stage presence. He was accompanied by his live 3-piece band that played not only covers of familar songs the audience knew and sung along with, but an original song written by Mr. Keni Myles himself called "Last Night". He pulled a member of the audience up on stage making it a truly memorable performance.
Last but not least, headling the evenings' event was none other than MC Lightfoot! Lightfoot was accompanied by his DJ, who backed him up perfectly syncing the right music with all of his punchlines, high energy dancing and creative delivery. The audience was filled with his fans from far and near and everyone had plenty to laugh about during his performance! Afterwards the audience had an opportunity to meet and greet with all of the talent and take pictures.
